About BestLife - Emotional Health & Wellness

The BestLife Emotional Health & Wellness Center offers compassionate, person-centered mental health and substance use treatment for individuals, families, and couples. Whether challenges are short-term or ongoing, BestLife provides evidence-based care to support emotional well-being and recovery.

Services include assessments, therapy (individual, group, family, couples), substance use treatment, co-occurring disorder care, medication management, case coordination, and recovery support. Care is delivered by licensed clinicians and overseen by a board-certified psychiatrist.

Position Summary

The Licensed Clinician will work in a community behavioral health setting, providing services to individuals, couples and / or families experiencing a mental health and / or substance use need. Services will include provision of comprehensive assessment, ongoing counseling for mental health, substance use and co-occurring presentations, case management and collaboration, referrals to community support services and psychoeducation, utilizing evidence-based practices. The Clinician will work with the Clinic Director to design and lead / co-lead groups meeting the unique needs of the greater community and agency.

Pay Rate : $63,000 annually

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assessments, treatment planning, and consultation in the development of crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication treatment plans.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and on time, in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team.
  • Collaborate with program teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans.
  • Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes to support program compliance and quality.
  • Serve as a liaison to service systems, agencies, and community partners, maintaining effective communication and building relationships to support program goals and funding opportunities.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development through conferences, trainings, and participation in relevant committees and task forces.
  • Promote and embody the agency’s mission, values, philosophy, and principles in all aspects of work.
  • Represent the agency in external settings and contribute to strengthening community partnerships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the overall function of the clinic.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required
