Professor Helen Blau is looking for a Research Development (RD) Strategist (Academic Program Professional 2) to act as a “right hand” assisting with lab strategic direction and operations. Duties include working with Prof Blau and members of the Blau lab drafting and providing substantive edits to manuscripts, grants, presentations, and documents for the lay public. The RD strategist would also draft and edit letters of recommendation, award nominations, promotion letters, and maintain the Blau lab website and systems of record. The ideal candidate is a PhD with postdoctoral experience that is highly organized with excellent written and oral communication skills and experience working with a wide variety of people.

The expected pay range for this position is $111.866 to $146.847 per annum.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Ph.D. in a Biological Sciences field and experience writing scientific fellowships and / or grants, peer-reviewed publications, and other scientific documents for a variety of audiences.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED) :
Bachelor's degree and three or more years of relevant experience or combination of education, training, and relevant experience. Advanced degree may be required for some programs. For jobs with financial responsibilities, experience managing a budget and developing financial plans.
