Pay Information

$2,600 to $2,900 per week

About The Position

Physical Therapist needed.

Setting : Post-Acute

Duration : 13 weeks (travel / local)

Shift : days 5x8s

Start : ASAP

Pay : $2600 to $2900 weekly

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and goals.

  • Utilize various therapeutic techniques to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and strategies for recovery.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with medical standards and regulations.
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients returning home or moving to other care facilities.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices.
  • Proficient in discharge planning processes to facilitate effective patient transitions.
  • In-depth understanding of physiology as it relates to rehabilitation and recovery.
  • Experience in providing patient care within hospital settings or home community care environments.
  • Familiarity with geriatric care principles and best practices for aging populations.
  • Ability to work effectively in acute care settings while managing multiple patient needs.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on improving quality of life through physical therapy interventions.
