Job Title : Mechanical Technician - Junior

Location : Bethesda, MD

Salary range : $43,000-$55,000

About the Role

• Work alongside other contractors and government personnel.
• Work with Mechanical Engineers to develop and execute novel testing plans, given that test objectives can differ significantly
• Interpret engineering designs, plans, and diagrams into test setup requirements
• Assist in configuring and operating industrial testing equipment for test events
• Operate and maintain hydraulic and pump systems
• Installing test sensors and control systems (i.e. strain gauges, fiber optic lines, data acquisition systems, etc.) in preparation for tests
• Unscheduled Maintenance : Inspect equipment, and systems to identify any problems. Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures. Perform part or machine disassembly / reassembly as needed to ensure maximum operation.
• Scheduled Maintenance : Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to plan and schedule repairs.
