Security Professional Tech Campus Patrol

As a Security Professional Tech Campus Patrol in Culpeper, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within the tech, media, and telecom environment. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the site. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, supporting a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities within the premises to help to deter security-related risks.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding security-related matters.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
  • Support emergency response efforts and assist with evacuations or other procedures as directed by site management or Allied Universal leadership.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Current CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
