CDL A Fleet Driver

Ryder is hiring a CDL A local / regional dry van driver in Pearl River, LA . A local truck driving job typically consists of transporting freight within a 200-mile radius, allowing the driver to complete their deliveries and return home the same day. Compensation :

• Average Weekly Pay : $1,400+

62 CPM - $1.35 per mile based on length of trip with 1,200-1,700miles per week

Solo Stops Pay : $24.00 per Stop with 2 - 4 Stops per Day

Per Diem Pay : $50.00 per night with 1 night out per Week possibly

Home Time, Route & Schedule :

Home Daily

Dispatch is between 9 : 00PM - 3 : 00AM

6 - day work week with 1 full day off during the week; Drivers work weekends & holidays

Route : 500 mile radius of Pearl River, LA

Touch Grocery Items - Driver will assist with unloading at stores; strapping and securing load before leaving each stop

24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide

Qualifications

Must have a valid CDL A License

Minimum 21 years of age

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle

9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

2 years experience within the last 5 years, OR

5 years experience within the last 10 years

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures

Must live within 30 miles of Pearl River, LA
