Must-Have : Experience in an ICU setting

Description :

Start date is non-negotiable.

36 or 48 hours are required per week.

Travelers may be asked to float to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius of their original assignment.

Floating will be based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity.

Travelers will always be notified before their scheduled shift if a float assignment is required.

The unit capacity is 42 beds.

The population served includes young adults through late adults, ages 18 and older.

Patients may have diagnoses such as chest pain, post-kidney transplant, acute renal failure, congestive heart failure, GI bleed, pneumonia, myocardial infarction, pulmonary disease (with or without mechanical ventilation), and other surgical procedures in patients with comorbidities.

Nurse to patient ratios are 1 : 2.
