Job Title : Robotic Welder

Job Description

As a welder, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, understanding weld symbols, and performing welding jobs independently. You will operate crane equipment to move prefabricated and finished parts into and out of jigs, physically lift parts onto the welding table, and set them up for welding. Your primary responsibility will be to weld parts.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Operate crane equipment to move parts into and out of jigs.
• Physically lift and set up parts for welding.
• Perform MIG welding on parts with precision.
• Ensure reliability by consistently showing up on time.
• Utilize hardwire welding skills with multi-pass work on thick mild steel.

Work Environment

The facility is large and produces various types of metal products for industries including defense, industrial, and commercial sectors. The work environment is loud, with radios playing and equipment running, and is not the cleanest, with large welding areas divided by work tables. Safety is a priority, so you will be required to wear steel toes, protective eyewear, hearing protection, a welding mask, sleeves, and company-provided uniforms.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.50 / hr.
