A minimum of 5 years of accounting experienceAt least 2 years of reinsurance or insurance-specific accountingBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldProficiency in Excel and general ledger systemsFamiliarity with GAAP; SAP exposure preferredExperience with Schedule F reporting is a strong plusDescription :
Prepare and post monthly reinsurance premiums, losses, and settlementsReconcile reinsurance accounts and cash receipts with detailed accuracyCollaborate with brokers, reinsurers, and internal departments (Claims, Underwriting, Actuarial)Assist in audit support, internal controls, and year-end collateral processesInterpret reinsurance contracts for appropriate accounting treatmentEnhance reinsurance accounting workflows for efficiency and compliance
