Accumet Engineering Inc , is an industry-leading advanced processing manufacturer for new and legacy materials fabrication, precision laser services, and critical component assembly. We are looking for an experienced Processing and Deburring Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

Primary responsibilities will be to perform processing and deburring of customer materials per procedure specifications, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Production processing : snapping, ultrasonic cleaning, bead blasting, annealing
• Preparing and packaging items for shipping
• Removal of post machining burr produced by laser cutting operations using a variety of methods such as metal filing, palm sanding, grinding equipment, tumblers, and liquid cleaners
• Prepare items for shipping, load and unload trucks
• Familiarity with UPS / FEDEX shipping
• Prior Manufacturing environment

Minimum requirements

Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk; lift and / or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision ability is required which includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
