Commercial Development Intern - U.S. Energy (Houston)

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Commercial Development Intern for our Summer 2026 Internship Program. The Commercial Development Intern will support our U.S. Energy division and will rotate between Supply Trading, Marketing / Sales, Support Services and Business Intelligence. They will be responsible for understanding each departments roles and job flow within the company. They will solve the needs of the departments by creating and maintaining new reports that provide value by increasing job efficiency.

U.S. Venture's Internship Program runs May - August. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located in Houston, TX [750 Town and Country Blvd, Suite 700, Houston, TX 77024].

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Special Project : Develop reports to automate workflows
• Understand each departments needs and create new process to advance productivity
• Maintain spreadsheets for inventory, sales, costs, and market prices
• Accurately update customer information
• Respond to customer requests related to invoicing, bols and loading issues
• Other projects as assigned
