Job Title : Machine Operator

Job Description

Maintain a clean and organized work area by adhering to standard operating procedures. Safely perform routine adjustments to ensure machines run smoothly. Execute all assigned tasks efficiently and within the scheduled timeframe. Consistently follow safe manufacturing practices when operating machinery. Accurately document daily production activities using paper and electronic forms, such as Microsoft Excel. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise to minimize downtime. Be flexible and willing to take on other tasks as assigned by supervisors. Perform heavy lifting of 50+ lbs throughout the day to handle materials and products. Maintain a fast pace while standing for up to 10 hours to meet production demands. Inspect molding material, cut to size, touch up, and join components to ensure quality. Safely climb ladders as needed to access materials and equipment. Consistently meet daily production goals to maintain workflow efficiency.

  • Machine operation skills
  • Ability to read a ruler and pass a ruler test
  • Experience with tape measures

    Work Environment

    Small production floor and small team.

    Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 am to 2 : 45 pm, with overtime as needed.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00 / hr.
