Pharmacy Technician

Contract to Hire | Onsite in Pittsburgh, PA
Monday-Friday, (Rotating Day/Evening) | Rotating Saturdays (day shift)

Oxford Solutions is hiring an Intake Pharmacy Technician to join our client's pharmacy team in their office location in Pittsburgh, PA (Robinson Township area). In this role, you'll support daily pharmacy operations, oversee workflow accuracy, and ensure safe, compliant handling of prescriptions and patient information.

Looking for someone with at least 6 months pharmacy technician experience up to 5 years of experience with PTCB/NHAcertification. (Pay rate based on experience level and certifications)

Responsibilities

• Enter electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions accurately
• Communicate with providers and physicians via phone and voicemail
• Resolve open issues from pharmacists and internal teams
• Follow all company, State, and Federal compliance standards

Requirements

• 6+ months of retail or closed door pharmacy experience
• PTCB or NHA certification required or willingness to obtain within 120 days
• Experience with data entry, prescription processing, and patient/provider calls
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and computer skills
