Locum Physician (MD / DO) - Emergency Medicine in Cambridge, OH

We are seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity involves 5-10 shifts per month, primarily nights and weekends, with 12-hour shifts from 7p-7a and 7a-7p. The ideal candidate is experienced in emergency medicine and holds all required certifications. Job Details Location : Ohio Start Date : Jan 5, 2026 LOA : 30 days Provider Type Needed : Emergency Medicine Physician Schedule : 5-10 shifts / month, mostly nights and weekends; 7p-7a, 7a-7p Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of emergency cases Perform advanced resuscitation and stabilization procedures as needed Coordinate patient care with nursing and ancillary staff Document all patient encounters and care provided in accordance with clinical protocols Maintain adherence to all regulatory and facility-specific requirements Additional Information Must have an active Ohio medical license or IMLC with proof of Letter of Qualification within three business days of offer acceptance Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABMS / AOA) required Must have current ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications Minimum of 2 years recent emergency medicine experience required Clean background required COVID vaccination required All qualifications and certifications must be provided at the time of name clear Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
