JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Survey Manager in San Diego or Riverside, CA, you will have an opportunity to work with and lead a team on meaningful, landmark projects in Southern California. Qualifications
The preferred candidate will have a California PLS (Professional Land Surveyor) license, plus 5 years of office mapping experience on private land development projects and public works projects.Candidate must have thorough knowledge of California Subdivision Map Act, Professional Surveyors Act, local Civil Codes, Leadership skills, and excellent communication skills.Candidate should have experience in the following :
Preparing CAD drawings of boundary surveys, Topographic Maps, ALTA / NSPS Land Title Surveys, As-built surveys, subdivision maps and other survey drawings as well as experience processing with City and County agencies. Additional skills necessary for this position are :
Project ManagementBusiness DevelopmentProposal Writing and EstimatingEnsure project goals are met on timeProvide direction, support, and mentorship to lower-level staff membersTime management / Schedule oversightTechnical :
Perform mapping research, boundary analysis, calculations, exhibits, and legal description preparation.Proficiency in Civil 3D is preferred; and MicroStation Inroads is a plus.Knowledge of Word, Bluebeam, and skills in Excel are preferred.Familiarity with Trimble Business Center and Carlson softwarePrevious Field experience
