Sales Account Manager – Hospitality & Residential

Minneapolis, MN

  • Territory – MN, IA, SD, ND, and Northern WI

Our client is a global leader in high-end commercial gym equipment, treadmills, spin cycles, exercise bikes, weights, digital fitness and health solutions. They have a great opportunity based in Minneapolis-St. Paul for a Sales Account Manager specializing in the hospitality / hotel, multifamily residential, resort, and country club industries. You would sell into hotels, resorts, condominiums, apartment complexes, architecture and design firms, and more. It’s a specialized division with a lot of growth potential for the territory.

Salary : $75k base salary and on target earnings of $150k. Additional benefits include health benefits, PTO / vacation plan, and retirement plans.

Job Summary : The Sales Account Manager will join the Field Sales team and perform territory development with a key focus on new business development and account growth. A typical day is spent in the field meeting with prospective clients needing fitness solutions for hotels or apartment / condominium gyms.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Ensure that local sales, profitability and cash flow targets are achieved
  • Develop business opportunities and exploit market potential
  • Generate leads, profile customers, plan activities and update the CRM
  • Increase customer satisfaction
  • Guarantee adequate market feedback on segment trends
  • Maintain and develop existing relationships and seek new opportunities
  • Manage the market and carry out an appropriate number of customer / prospect visits in line with the company sales code
  • About You :

  • Ideally, you are passionate about working out, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical.
  • You have a positive and proactive mindset, strong organizational skills and are used to working in a fast-paced environment.
  • What you should bring :

  • At least 3 years’ sales experience as a Sales Account Manager or in a similar role
  • Degree in Business Administration, Sales or a relevant field
  • Experience in managing complex deals and selling solutions
  • Excellent consulting sales approach and negotiation skills
  • Solid experience with CRM software; knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
  • Result-driven approach
  • Excellent listening, communications and presentation abilities
