Job description

What you’ll be doing :

  • Developing shaders, materials, and tools to support stylised visuals and combat effects
  • Building pipelines that ensure efficient integration of assets across multiple disciplines
  • Optimising art and VFX assets for performance within Unreal Engine 5
  • Supporting animation, environment, and VFX teams with technical problem-solving
  • Profiling and debugging rendering and performance issues to maintain smooth gameplay

What we're looking for :

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a technical artist in games
  • Strong proficiency with Unreal Engine 5 (Materials, Niagara, Blueprints)
  • Proven experience creating shaders and optimising art pipelines
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Bonus : Familiarity with Python scripting or rigging workflows
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach to development
