ASI-Contracting is looking for a grain bin technician to join our crew. As a grain bin technician your primary purpose will be service calls, repairs, and a variety of other tasks. This position will be working outside in all kinds of weather conditions. We are looking for a safety-oriented person to become a valuable asset to our team.
PAY : $15.00-$20.00 or higher based on experience (possible wage increase after 60 days based on performance)
HOURS : Primarily : 7am-5pm, Monday thru Friday (occassional weekends)

Duties and Responsibilities
Move machinery and equipment, using hoist, dollies, rollers, and trucksAssemble and install equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails, using hand tools and power toolsAlign machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, lasers and plumb bobsAssemble machinery and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures, using hand and power toolsRepair and lubricate machinery and equipmentAttach load with grappling devices, such as loops, wires, ropes, and chains to crane hookSet up braces, and rigs hoisting equipment using hand tools and power wrenchesFollow instruction and safety procedures on the job siteOperate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills and other tools as directed by supervisorWork at heights without fearMake decisions based on measurable informationProvide labor support as needed for specialty crewsListen and follow instruction from supervisorPreform other tasks as needed and directed by supervisorEducation and Experience
High School diploma or GED1-2 years of related experience and knowledge in grain bins and grain handling equipmentKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Operated : Skid-loader, Forklift, Impacts, Chop Saws, and a variety of other hand & power toolsWelding Experience : Arc / stick, Wire feed, TorchAble to read tape measureReliable transportation and valid drivers licenseSelf-motivatedPhysical Demands
Climb and maintain body balance at heights of 100ft. or more on ladders, scaffolding, or high structuresLift 60lbs regularlyFrequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, sit, and stand for long periods of time.Full range of body movementsWorking Conditions
