What will you be doing :

The Director of Contracting is a key leadership position responsible for developing, negotiating, and managing contracts between IHCS and a healthcare organization, health insurance plans or payers. This role ensures IHCS secures advantageous terms, complies with regulatory requirements, and maintains positive relationships with health plan partners. The Director serves as the primary point of contact for contract strategy, driving business growth and ensuring the financial sustainability of the organization’s payer relationships.

What will you come with :

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field required. Advanced degree (MBA, MHA, JD) strongly preferred.
  • Experience : Minimum of 8 years’ experience in healthcare contracting, payer relations, or managed care, including at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Knowledge : In-depth understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies (FFS, capitation, value-based care), payer landscapes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities
  • Experience interpreting complex legal language
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management system.
