  • Job Summary :

    • As a Community Employment Specialist based out of our Corporate office in Niles, OH, you will connect job seekers with disabilities to meaningful employment opportunities within the community. You will assess clients' skills, provide job coaching, and support them through the job search process while traveling throughout Trumbull and Mahoning counties.

  • Qualifications :
  • Associate's degree in a related field preferred, but not required
  • 1-3 years of community employment job development experience preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Knowledge of local labor market trends and job search strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop individualized employment plans and goals

    • Must have valid Drivers license

  • Responsibilities :
  • Conduct initial assessments to determine clients' vocational interests, skills, and support needs
  • Develop and implement individualized employment plans for each client
  • Provide job coaching and support to clients during the job search process
  • Collaborate with employers to identify job opportunities and facilitate placements
  • Monitor clients' progress in their jobs and provide ongoing support as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress and outcomes
