WELLNESS SPECIALIST
Position Summary :
The primary purpose of the position is to encourage and motivate participants to lead healthy lifestyles. The Health & Wellness Coach is the main contact, and coordinates wellness programs for the company. The one on one follow up sessions with the participants need to acquire specific and appropriate goal setting for the recommended time frame.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field.
- Maintain current nationally recognized Health Coaching certification and required CEU’s.
- Maintain CPR / BLS certification.
Skills :
Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Access Demonstrates ability to deliver speaking presentations utilizing PowerPoint slides as part of the wellness program.Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate with various customers in group or individual setting.Demonstrates ability to work independently and effectively perform multi-tasks.Demonstrates ability to utilize information systems within scope of position.Demonstrates ability to meet deadlines.Demonstrates ability to exercise independent decision-making capability.Demonstrates organizational skills.Demonstrates ability to prioritize assignments.Able to cope with mental and emotional stressors of the position and deadlines.Functions independently with flexibility, integrity, and the ability to work effectively and efficiently with all levels of personnel.Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.Displays professional manner and appearance.Responsibilities & Expectations :

Facilitate Health and Wellness 1on1 Coaching Sessions.Conduct group presentations on various wellness topics.Plan and staff local and Out-of-State health fairs.Assist with Health and Wellness Center needs.Travel to Out-of-State to host health fair events.Facilitate 1on1 personal training sessions and create individualized fitness programs.Accurately report and document pertinent information.Complete basic typing and word processing assignments. All work is to be format perfect and spell checked.Use good judgment in referring inquiries to other office personnel or supervisor.Consistently demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize work in accordance with organizational position and necessity.Assess needs, establish goals, and motivate members to their optimal state of wellness.Analyze other data sources as necessary to identify and target members to engage in wellness programs.Assist with accurately tracking and reporting companies’ return on investment (ROI) of wellness programs and discuss with the assigned companies.Continuous Quality Improvement

Working Conditions :
Hours of operation vary from day to day depending on the hours the AultCare Wellness clients need the Health Coach onsite. Overtime may be necessary to meet deadlines and implement employer based onsite wellness programs.Subject to changes in working shifts. May be required to work weekends and off shift hours of which overtime is applicable to meet company request.Travel required for which you will be required to use your own automobile, or a company owned vehicle, mileage reimbursement is applicable.Lunch periods and breaks are coordinated with other staff to maintain adequate coverage.Subject to frequent interruptions and changes in priority of duties throughout the day.Works in well-lit, ventilated areas.Can spend long periods of time sitting during the working day.Involved with personnel under various conditions and circumstances.Hazardous Exposure Category :
Category I – Includes tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
All procedures or other job-related tasks that involve an inherent potential for spills or splashes of, or mucous membrane or skin contact with blood, body fluids or tissues are Category I tasks. Use of appropriate protective measures is required for every employee engaged in Category I tasks.
