Shift Length : 12 hours

Meal Break : 30 minutes

On Call : Yes (12–24 hours per 6-week schedule)

Position Overview :

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a travel assignment in Bridgeport, CT. This role involves providing care to both labor & delivery and postpartum patients in a busy, collaborative unit.

Responsibilities :

Provide direct nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery

Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor

Administer medications and treatments as ordered

Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members

Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing process

Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery or Postpartum (experience with both strongly preferred)

Required Certifications : BLS, NRP

Preferred Certifications : ACLS, C-EFM

EPIC EMR experience preferred

Availability for every other weekend and holiday as required by unit schedule

Hours / Week : 36 (3x12s)

Meal Duration : 30 minutes

On Call : 12–24 hours per 6 weeks
