Summary of Job Purpose
The Food and Beverage department is a team-oriented department focused on providing our guests with excellent customer service and a pleasurable dining experience. The Barista is responsible for preparation and service of all North Fork Bistro food & beverage menu items. Responsibilities include daily set-up and break down of this work area; maintaining it in a neat and sanitary condition. Maintaining the highest standards of menu item preparation following standard recipes to assure consistency of all food and beverages served. Cashiering is another key function of this role. The responsibilities cashiering are to accurately calculate food and beverage sales; to pleasantly interact with guests, answer their questions, as well as assisting with necessary tasks to maintain the smooth operation of the dining area. This position may also work at the Creekside Lodge, North Fork Bistro, Outside BBQ or Locals mid mountain restaurant. Working as a team member and focusing on fulfilling our guest’s needs are the key roles for Food and Beverage.

Work Schedules
Weather conditions and the number of guests play a large role in the work scheduling of Dodge Ridge employees.
When conditions are normal, you may be expected to work 40 up to 48 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. During busy periods, you may be expected to work six (6) days a week.
You must arrange for transportation to work so that you arrive at your designated workstation at the scheduled time. Keep in mind that you will often be required to drive on hilly, snowpacked, and icy road surfaces.
Working Conditions
At any time during the ski season, Dodge Ridge employees are often required to perform their tasks in high winds, heavy snowfalls, low visibility, rain, and extremely cold or warm temperatures.
Work is typically performed indoors working directly with resort guests and other resort staff members and it can be noisy. At times, you may be expected to work outside were it can be cold, wet, or humid. There is also the possibility of working around moving objects such as vehicles or snow blowers.
Uniforms
A professional appearance at Dodge Ridge is required. Please wear your name tag and uniform at all times during your scheduled shift. We will provide most of the uniform for you to do your job. However, you will be required to provide some items as part of your job, as listed below. The quality, color, and style of the items must be approved by your manager prior to being worn to work. All hats worn must have the Dodge Ridge logo while on shift.
