$1,724 per week

About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Specialty : IMC

Duration : 8 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Experience : Minimum 2 years in specialty required

License : Valid RN license

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required

Must-Have :

EPIC experience required

No first-time travelers

Patient ratios of 1 : 5-6

Local travelers not accepted

Description :

Documentation must be done using the EPIC system.

BLS certification is necessary.

Oxygen protocol management and non-invasive airway management are essential.

Peripheral line care and management experience is required.

Familiarity with isolation precautions and personal protective equipment is expected.

Computerized documentation is a must.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 5-6.

Rapid response team activation experience is required.

Two years of recent experience is needed.

Charge experience is preferred, with a patient ratio experience of 5 / 6.

Candidates must be skilled in accessing ports, administering blood products, and managing central lines.

Experience with chest tubes, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), external CPAP / BIPAP, feeding tube care, and heparin protocols is necessary.

High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) and interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) are important skills.

Knowledge of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, and IV insulin protocols is required.

Candidates must have experience managing cardiac drips without titration and understanding dysrhythmias.

Telemetry experience, including on-unit monitoring and remote monitoring, is necessary.

Candidates should be adept in post-myocardial infarction care, starting and maintaining IVs, and managing surgical drains.

Tracheostomy management and wound care experience, including wound vac, are required.

Skills in using rapid response / code teams are essential.

Daily patient census ranges from 18-25 with a patient age group that includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

The unit features support from respiratory services and rapid response teams.

Candidates should have experience in special procedures and equipment as applicable.
