We're looking for an experienced paralegal to play an important role in our legal team. The paralegal will assist in matters involving child custody and divorce with assignments delegated to them by their supervising attorneys. We are growing fast, and we need a paralegal who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding. Office Hours are Monday thru Friday. This is a Full-time position willing to accommodate a flexible schedule and remote work or a hybrid position.

Compensation :
$72,000 - $85,000 yearly
Responsibilities :
Arrange law office activity such as drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process serversPerform administrative duties such as answering phone calls and keeping our case filing system organized so all documents are readily accessibleAssist lawyers in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence including correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavitsHelp lawyers prepare for trial by preparing and organizing exhibits, assisting with client meetings, filing motions, conducting research on legal articles, and organizing and coordinating witnessesConduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issuesQualifications :
Strong oral and written communication skillsMust have great time-management skills, and organizational skillsCompletion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program strongly preferredRequired 1-2 years experience in Family Law Legal Services under an attorney in a law firm setting in Californiawell versed in legal terminology, laws, judicial decisions, court jurisdictions, and procedures, and Family Law knowledge is a mustExperience Note : The required knowledge and abilities to perform this function are typically attained through approximately 1-2 years of experience performing work in the Family Law FieldThe ability to work with little supervisionComputer Literate and Tech SavvyAbout Company
