Job descriptionValid Class A CDL and ability to pass a road test. 0-5 years of driving experience (2+ years preferred). Clean Motor Vehicle Record and ability to meet FMCSA requirements. High school diploma or GED preferred. Strong understanding of safety procedures and DOT regulations. Ability to read and follow written instructions. Basic math and measurement skills. A team-first attitude and commitment to excellence.
CDL Class A Driver
As a CDL Class A Driver, you'll play a key role in our delivery operations, ensuring materials get to our customers safely and on time. You'll be responsible for :
- Operating commercial vehicles (GVWR over 26,001 lbs.) for local and regional deliveries.
- Loading, securing (including tarping), and unloading materials.
- Performing daily vehicle inspections and logging activities using an ELD.
- Reading manifests and bills of lading to verify delivery details.
- Reporting incidents and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Occasionally traveling overnight (minimal).
