Job Details :

Work 3x12 night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM

Patient ratios of 1 : 1-2 in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU)

Required to work every other weekend (12 weekend shifts during contract)

May float to MICU or other departments based on census needs

Can be placed on call for low census but no additional call shifts required

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required

First-time travelers accepted

South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact RN license required

Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Preferred experience with CRRT - Prismax equipment

Must wear royal blue scrubs

Epic charting system experience preferred

12 hours of orientation provided

Care for adults and geriatric patients with primarily cardiac diagnoses

Unit also takes MICU / SICU overflow patients

Must be able to work with specialized equipment including FloTrac, Impella CP / RP / 5.5, IABP, and CRRT

Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams

Block scheduling requires manager approval based on unit needs

60-mile local radius policy applies

This acute care hospital features a newly established 4-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit with plans to expand to 16 beds as volume increases. The facility provides comprehensive cardiac care services and maintains modern equipment including advanced monitoring systems and life support devices. The hospital offers extensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. Downtown parking is provided at no cost with distributed parking passes available at badge pickup.
