Role Description :

Seeking a motivated Python Developer with the right knowledge, skills, and abilities to support a new cybersecurity initiative. You will work closely with a small team and mission stakeholders to capture requirements, create parsers for network protocols, develop fingerprints and signatures to identify suspicious and anomalous network activity, and deploy solutions to customer supported tools to automate and enable data and metadata analysis.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate closely with customers to overlay network datasets through an existing architecture.
• Develop parsing and processing of network protocols to populate customer data repositories.
• Prototype and develop analytic workflows to automate tasks such as profiling network traffic / activity and detecting / alerting based on network changes.

Pay Rate :

In compliance with Maryland's Equal Pay for Equal Work law, the annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $230,000. This range represents the base pay for this role and is provided in accordance with Maryland's requirements to disclose compensation in job postings. Please note that actual compensation may vary based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market conditions. In addition to base salary, candidates hired into this position may be eligible for a hiring bonus of $10,000.00, subject to applicable contingencies and Navstar policy.
