West Hills Convalescent Center Limited Partnership, d/b/a West Hills Health & Rehabilitation, has openings for a Nursing Assistant. Resident personal care includes dressing/undressing, bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, bedpan/catheter bag emptying, collection of stool/urine specimens. Resident physical care involves transfer in/out of bed, wheelchair, exercise, back rub, placement of supportive pads or protectors, assist fallen residents. Resident medical care includes weighing resident; taking vital signs, external eye cleansing, applying warm/cold packs, reporting any change in condition to supervising nurse, documenting provided cares. Resident information includes giving input on care plan, answering call light. Resident home care involves distributing meal trays, feeding residents, distributing/gathering utensils, collecting/distributing linens and clothing, changing bedding, tidying resident bedstands/closets/rooms, emptying linen barrels, cleaning wet floors, disinfecting bathtubs. Will not oversee any employee, LPNs, or CNAs. Employees may be required to work at unanticipated locations. Multiple positions available. Requires high school diploma/GED or foreign equivalent.
