Procurement Specialist

Job Title : Procurement Specialist Location : Monroe, North Carolina Overview : System One is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team. You will manage complex contracts for services, equipment, and supplies while supporting cross-functional teams across operations, finance, engineering, and sales. Key Responsibilities : Manage procurement processes from requisition to contract award and administration Develop Statements of Work (SOW) and evaluate vendor technical and cost proposals Negotiate price, delivery, and contract terms Track and report cost savings initiatives Collaborate with internal teams to resolve procurement-related issues Manage supplier performance using KPIs and scorecards Provide guidance and support to junior team members Qualifications : Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 3+ years in procurement or similar role Manufacturing experience preferred ERP system experience preferred Skills & Abilities : Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and cost / financial analytics Certifications : APICS or CPSM certification is a plus Working Conditions : Office-based with regular attendance; some travel may be required Occasional exposure to operational environments PPE as required per safety procedures System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
