POSITION OVERVIEW :
Oversees the delivery of data pipelines and workflows, enabling reliable and scalable data ingestion, transformation and integration across business systems
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Oversee the architecture, design, and capabilities of scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms that support advanced analytics, self-service business intelligence, and data science solutions
2. Lead the development and optimization of robust data pipelines and integration to ensure efficient, reliable and timely data delivery
3. Collaborate closely with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and IT leadership to ensure data engineering aligns with overall architecture and strategic priorities
4. Ensure team adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards across all pipelines and processes
5. Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing data engineering team, fostering technical growth and continuous improvement
6. Perform other duties as assigned
7. Comply with all applicable laws / regulations, as well as company policies / procedures

Additional Details : This position will be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Harrison, AR / Memphis, TN / Dallas,TX / Pittsburgh, PA / Lakeland, FL / Brookfield,WI. You will be required to work at a FedEx Freight location several times per week.
