Job Description :

The property damage adjuster is responsible for assessing and evaluating property damage claims, determining coverage and liability, and negotiating settlements with policyholders. They are responsible for investigating the extent of the damage, so they can come up with a resolution.

Responsibilities :

• Inspecting damaged properties
• Gathering evidence and documentation
• Analyzing insurance policies
• Calculating claim values
• Effectively communicating with policyholders, contractors, and other relevant parties to negotiate settlements

Qualifications :

• Prior experience in property damage assessment, insurance claims handling
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, insurance policies, coverage types, and claim processes
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and customer service skills
• Must be detail oriented and show a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of claims while adhering to deadlines
• Proficient with computer software
