• Much more awaits you!\n\nAbout Our Surgical Department : \n\nOur surgical facilities have undergone significant upgrades, now including a sixth operating room and an additional OR on the way. We're also enhancing our communication systems and employing state-of-the-art technology that improves surgical techniques and visibility. In 2023, our team successfully completed 7,837 procedures, reflecting our commitment to quality care and growth.\n\nYour Responsibilities : \n
• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.\n
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient status and care.\n
• Perform focused patient assessments and ongoing reassessments based on patient conditions and treatments.\n
• Manage and evaluate pain using appropriate pain management techniques.\n
• Administer medications safely, adhering to the six rights of medication administration.\n
• Assist physicians with surgical procedures and perform tasks requiring technical skills.\n\nMinimum Qualifications : \n
• Willingness to take call shifts.\n
• Valid RN license in Kentucky or a compact state.\n
• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.\n
• BLS certification within 7 days of hire.\n
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.\n
