Pay and Shifts :

  • $20 | 6am-4 : 30pm
  • $21 | 6pm-4 : 30am
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed

Position Overview :

  • The main function of a Material Handler is to receive, store and issue materials, equipment and other items from stockroom, warehouse or storage yard
  • Receive and count stock items
  • Record data manually or using computer
  • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards
  • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas
  • Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Keep records on the use and / or damage of stock or stock handling equipment
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
  • Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers
  • Ability to schedule and prioritize multiple projects
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced setting
  • Work as an integral part of the production team to ensure smooth operations and efficient output
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • High attention to detail and follow up on defective product

    • Requirements :

  • A physical copy of a high school diploma, GED, or transcript
  • Able to perform manufacturing tasks in a fast-paced work setting
  • Previous experiment working in a high production environment is preferred
  • Must have command of the English language both written & verbal
  • All potential employees will be required to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Ability to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday
