Job descriptionH / S, Technical, Vocational or advanced schooling, formal training and / or general-level maintenance with journeyman and / or certifications in one or more disciplines. 3-5 yrs. Industrial Manufacturing or Skilled Trades, previous work-related experience, may include a combination of on-the-job and informal training. RETA I Certification, HazMat Trained. Competent with basic theory, practical knowledge and skills to safely and successfully function as a mid-level mechanic.
Refrigeration mechanics have RETA I Certification. Competent with routine / non-routine refrigeration preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installation. They repair, troubleshoot, maintain, inspect, and adjust complex refrigeration processes in the plant to provide uninterrupted cooling requirements.
Duties / Activities Required by Job :
- Perform routine and non-routine preventative maintenance as scheduled.
- Complete work orders as assigned.
- Set up / tear down / adjust equipment.
- Repair, troubleshoot, maintain, inspect, and adjust refrigeration processes.
- Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing, and reporting unsafe acts and conditions. Lock / Tag out procedures and Process Safety Management related matters.
