Hospice / Palliative Medicine Physician

AdventHealth Hospice Care is seeking a Hospice Physician to oversee the medical components of the Hospice plan of care for each patient admitted. This physician will focus on collaboration and delivering the highest level of patient care. Our interdisciplinary teams consist of : RN Case Managers, CNAs, Social Workers, Patient Care Managers and Chaplains.

The physician will manage and have oversight of patients within the inpatient unit, long term care facilities, and through hospice at-home services.

Requirements for this position :

• MD or DO
• Ability to receive an unrestricted Medical License
• Preferred but not required : Board certification or training in Hospice and Palliative Care
• Eligible to participate as a provider in the Medicare and Medicaid programs (including any successor program to either)
