DataFrame SDK Engineer

A company is looking for a Dataframe SDK Engineer to enhance the developer experience for querying and working with data.

Key Responsibilities

Build a world-class query and dataframe SDK for intuitive data exploration

Work across Python, Rust, and gRPC to integrate new operations with backend services

Contribute to performance improvements, documentation, and collaboration on dataset interfaces

Required Qualifications

Experience building or contributing to Python data APIs, especially dataframe-style APIs

Strong experience in Python and Rust, or a proven ability to learn Rust quickly

Experience writing high-performance software and debugging across multiple languages and systems

Proven ability to manage projects independently from start to finish

Empathy for developers and a focus on clean, ergonomic API design
