Job descriptionAbility to communicate with and properly handling patients with their medical records Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment Pre-testing all scheduled patients in preparation for the Drs. efficiently Contact Lens Insertion & Removal Trainings Assisting with the contact lens inventory & trials Clean instruments and equipment after use General clerical & office duties, and assisting with keeping track of tests and lab reporting to ensure everything arrives on time and the patient is kept informed on their condition and care Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs Assist doctors with basic medical care and procedures Excellent customer service skills Strong attention to detail No certification necessary

Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team! As a Medical Assistant, you will be preparing for each patient visit by preparing charts and pulling notes before their arrival, providing routine support alongside optometrists.You will also be helping manage the inventory of medical supplies, setting up machines and testing equipment, and cleaning instruments and rooms as needed. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment, and has previous office experience.
