What We Are Looking For :
A driven and mission-focused Sr. Director, Major Gifts and Planned Giving to contribute to leadership, direction, and management of a comprehensive development strategy that strategically grows Prison Fellowship's major gifts and planned giving programs. Working with the VP, Development, you will set specific major gifts and planned giving forecasts and drive those teams to achieve goals with a data-driven, collaborative, and inspiring approach.
Expectations of This Role :
Team Management : Oversee the major gifts function and provide leadership to approximately 8 Development / Planned Giving Directors, serving as a success partner.
Strategy and Collaboration : Working with senior leaders and in alignment with PFM's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values, contribute to major donor and planned giving forecast and strategies to provide for teamwide development revenue goals and mission success.
Portfolio Management : Oversee a portfolio of approximately 20 major donors.
Leadership : Models shepherd leadership while contributing to strategic and team meeting planning, managing budgets, advising across departments on Salesforce dashboards, data hygiene, financial / mail processes to ensure ministry policies and procedures are followed.
Qualifications :
Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions.
7+ years of progressive experience in the nonprofit space.
Demonstrated effectiveness in personally raising $1M+ annually (experience in Christian outreach preferred).
5+ years of experience successfully managing direct reports.
Demonstrated experience soliciting and securing planned gifts.
Knowledge of donor best practices and data analysis to inform team's progress.
Strong planning and strategic abilities with proven record of achieving multi-goal, multi-year tasks.
Well-developed interpersonal, communication, and management skills for supervising staff and interacting with constituents as well as with PFM team and leadership.
Proficient in MS Office, internet, and databases with a strong command of Salesforce.
Bachelor's degree (advanced degree or CFRE preferred).
This is a remote / work from home position with a 21-30% travel component to include in-prison visits, and the driving aspect of this role is subject to certain driving record and insurance requirements.

Salary at Prison Fellowship is determined by a variety of factors. For this position, the salary range is projected to be between $107,000 and $133,000.
