Shift : Monday - Thursday 06 : 00 - 14 : 30, Fridays 08 : 00 - 12 : 00, as needed

Coordinates the scheduling, insurance verification, and registration functions for the department. Inputs charges for the department to central billing office. May also serve as a receptionist for the department.

Responsibilities :

Responsible for receiving customer calls regarding patient bills and initiate phone contact / letters to patients with past due accounts to collect payment.

Qualifications :

High School diploma or equivalent. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Medical Terminology preferred. Previous collection or hospital business office experience is preferred.
