As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help foster a secure environment for staff and visitors. What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and report any suspicious behavior or potential hazards. Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment. Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols. Collaborate with site staff and visitors to address questions, assist with directions, and provide a professional security-related presence. Remain alert and aware of surroundings, adapting to changing conditions within the tech, media, or telecom environment. Minimum Requirements : At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. CPR and first aid certification is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
