Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill / dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS)

Please note the following important details regarding this position :

• This is an onsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location.
• Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location :
• Texas : Lubbock
• Flexibility to work a day, evening or night shift as scheduled
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on operational and departmental requirements.

Required Qualifications :

2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and current PTCB certification -OR- 2 years (>

4160 hours) hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certified
