Principal Content Analyst- Commercial Transactions Job at Bloomberg Industry Gro

As a Principal Content Analyst, you will be part of our Commercial Transactions team that serves in-house legal teams. You will be responsible for delivering original, actionable, and timely analysis across various areas of commercial transactions. You will have experience and expertise in some or all of the following areas : supply chain; contract drafting, negotiation, and management; AI and technology agreements, IP transactions; and other areas of commercial law. You will research, interpret, and analyze complex topics and issues that impact our customer base. You will serve as a subject matter expert for your team, conceptualizing and executing commercial transactions content roadmap. Activities : What You Will Do

Research, interpret, and analyze complex topics and issues that impact our customer base.

Screen cases, legislation, regulations, and other developments in order to edit, update, and create new legal content.

Leverage subject matter knowledge in relevant fields to prioritize work, identify developments, and contextualize developments within assigned content.

Mentor and train more junior team members by providing substantive feedback and edits, sharing legal knowledge and experience, and identifying areas for growth.

Scope and manage cross-team projects, deliverables, and measures of success

Collaborate with other analysts and commercial teams to deliver technology-enhanced content, tools, and workflows for customers.

Drive thought leadership through participation in customer conversations, industry conferences and events, webinars, and social media.

Stay abreast of emerging issues and technology and their implications for our customers and / or the way you work.

What You Need : Bachelor's degree in a related field required.

Specialized education, such as a J.D. or graduate degree, preferred.

7+ year s' experience practicing law , with 4+ y ea rs of commercial transactions experience .

Experience analyzing and writing about legal developments

Ability to understand and contextualize complex details to publish readable, concise, and insightful analytical content.

Ability to work independently, plan, organize, set priorities, and advance multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills.

Special Requirements Candidates may be required to pass a test for this position.
