Job Title : Travel CT / Radiologic Technologist

Location : Springfield, IL 62781 (Illinois healthcare jobs)

Employment Type : Travel healthcare assignment

Facility Type : Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma Center

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 20 / 2025 – End : 1 / 19 / 2026)

Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts (06 : 30 – 19 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : 2-3 weekends per contract

On-call Requirement : Yes, as needed

Charting System : Cerner

Scrub Color : Provided

Parking : Free permit provided

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2540 - $2610

CT / Rad Tech Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT / Radiologic Technologist (Cardiac Cath Lab experience required)

Active Illinois Radiologic Technologist license required at time of application

Certifications : ACLS, BLS (AHA or Red Cross), ARRT, RCIS

Experience with Cerner electronic health record system

Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures

Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias

Strong infection control skills (isolation precautions, sterile technique)

Competency in caring for adult and geriatric patient populations

Willingness to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed

CT / Rad Tech Responsibilities

Perform cardiac cath lab procedures including cardiac implant closure device placement, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations (adult), IABP placement / removal, left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, and rotablader athrectomy

Set up imaging equipment and maintain a sterile field for all procedures

Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias and life-threatening arrhythmias

Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols

Accurately document patient care and procedures using Cerner

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care

Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training as required

Work scheduled shifts, including required weekends and on-call coverage
