Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 01 / 12 / 2026 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type : Local Contract Unit Specifics : Number of Beds : 20 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Unit secretary on days & nights, occasional tech help Type of equipment : GE monitors, Alaris pumps, Puritan Bennet ventilators Documentation system : Meditech Scheduling requirements : 36 hours / wk, 3 weekend shifts / 4 weeks Floating policy : Contract labor floats before core staff Patient Experience requirements : at least 1 year critical care Hospital Specifics- Certifications : ACLS Requested Skill Set : Must have : 1 year critical care experience, ACLS, NIH certification Advanced skills needed : Ability to manage : arterial lines, venous / arterial sheaths / cardiovascular & vasopressor drips / ventilated patients Procedures performed on unit : Bedside central line placement, Massive transfusion protocol, Certifications Required : ACLS
