What You'll Do : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and / or responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues. Observe and report any unusual conditions, incidents, or security-related concerns within the facility to the appropriate personnel. Assist visitors, staff, and patients with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence. Support access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas of the healthcare location. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to provide a secure environment for all occupants. Minimum Requirements : Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
