As Sales Acceleration Manager on the Sales Acceleration team, you'll be part of a specialized overlay sales function dedicated to bringing 1Password's emerging products and new solutions to market. This is a quota-carrying role for a driven, entrepreneurial seller who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and is motivated by building something new. The Sales Acceleration team serves as the bridge between product innovation and market execution partnering closely with core Account Executives, Sales Leadership, Product, and Marketing to validate new product-market fit, accelerate customer adoption, and create scalable sales motions. You'll operate as a specialist and product expert within your assigned product line, combining deep technical and commercial understanding with consultative discovery and compelling storytelling to help customers realize the full value of 1Password's evolving portfolio. Unlike traditional generalist sales roles, you'll focus on specific products, features, or solution areas developing expertise that enables you to drive strategic sales initiatives, provide actionable feedback, and act as a trusted advisor to both customers and the broader GTM organization. You'll manage the pipeline with precision, and collaborate across teams to deliver a seamless, orchestrated customer experience executing with the focus and coordination of a world-class ensemble. At 1Password, we move quickly and collaboratively. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape how our newest innovations reach customers, drive early revenue, and lay the foundation for scalable, long-term growth. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US with preference for Toronto, ON or Austin, TX.

What we're looking for :

  • 6+ years of Mid-Market / Enterprise sales experience in a direct or strategic capacity, with a proven ability to influence and close complex deals, within the SaaS or cybersecurity space.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic solution selling from pipeline generation to multi-stakeholder deal navigation and value-based negotiation.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen with hands-on experience using Salesforce, HubSpot, and analytics tools to drive insights.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate data and strategy into compelling narratives for executives and clients.
  • Highly collaborative, with experience working cross-functionally to align GTM, product, and operational initiatives.
  • Detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies or tools preferred.
  • Growth-oriented mindset with a passion for operational excellence and continuous learning.

What you can expect :

  • Drive Strategic Growth : Identify and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to uncover high-value opportunities. Translate data into actionable sales and go-to-market strategies that drive measurable business impact.
  • Act as a Strategic Sales Partner : Serve as a trusted advisor to internal teams and external partners, offering expert guidance on positioning, sales enablement, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Own the Pipeline : Build, manage, and optimize a robust pipeline through proactive prospecting, qualification, and opportunity management. Ensure efficient deal progression and consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Enable Data-Driven Decisions : Leverage analytics and reporting tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics) to evaluate performance, identify growth levers, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to design and execute cohesive strategies that align customer needs with product capabilities and go-to-market objectives.
  • Optimize Sales Execution : Provide actionable feedback to enhance sales funnels, marketing campaigns, and customer onboarding, ensuring a seamless customer journey and maximizing conversion rates.
  • Expand Market Presence : Contribute to the development of new business models, partnerships, and market entry initiatives that position the organization for long-term growth.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve : Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • USA-based roles only : The annual base salary for this role is between $139,000 USD and $187,000 USD, and is commission-eligible. This role is also immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. Canada-based roles only : The annual base salary for this role is between $135,000 CAD and $183,000 CAD and is commission-eligible. This role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password's generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. Our approach to work We recognize the power of both in person collaboration and remote work. Some roles are designated as remote-first, with an expectation that individuals work from their homes majority of the time, while others are designated as in-office roles, with an expectation of being on-site on a regular basis. We recognize that certain roles benefit from regular, in-person connection to support collaboration, team cohesion, and customer engagement. For all roles, occasional travel may be required. This includes things like : department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events are typically held in varying locations across Canada, USA and / or EMEA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average. Note : All go-to-market roles will have an in-person onboarding in Toronto.
