Job Overview

Foley & Lardner LLP is accepting applications from current judicial law clerks for an entry‑level associate position in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group in San Francisco, commencing in fall 2026.

Candidate Profile

Strong legal writing and oral communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Graduated from an ABA‑approved law school.

Admission to the California Bar will be a condition of hire.

Prior summer associate experience at a law firm is preferred.

Demonstrated track record of strong academic performance.

Well‑rounded, with a strong work ethic and dedication to providing exceptional client service.

Compensation

Foley provides salary information for all positions. The expected salary for this position is $225,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at Foley, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
