Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based nuclear medicine department utilizing PET / CT technology Primary work days are Monday through Thursday, 4x10 hour day shifts from 5 : 30 AM to 3 : 30 PM Technologists operate in a mobile PET unit at one location Tuesday through Friday, with required floating to a second location on Mondays Equipment includes GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, and Toshiba systems, with specialized use of the Siemens Biograph Horizon Scanner Care for patients referred for PET / CT imaging across multiple clinical settings Epic EMR is used for all documentation and charting Main responsibilities include conducting PET / CT scans and operating specialized imaging equipment Technologists may be required to float between facilities within their competency and qualifications Orientation is provided weekly on Mondays Annual completion of required pre-assignment modules is necessary Employees must adhere to facility dress code policies Applicants must live more than 100 miles from any facility, with specific radius rules for applicable specialties Requirements Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT), CT certified, and ARRT N required Active CNMT, BLS, and South Carolina state licensure required (license required if applicable) Minimum of 1 year of recent Epic EMR experience Experience working with advanced imaging equipment including PET / CT Open to first-time travelers Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630012.
