Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced construction Estimator to join our team. We are the lead company in interior home remodeling. In this role, you will assist the company in completing in home meetings with clients and writing quotes / selling the repairs. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record as an Estimator.

Responsibilities

  • Fully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locations
  • Collect necessary documentation such as photos, videos, measurements
  • Find leaks or problems in the foundation of a home and build quotes and solutions to fix them and sell the home owner on the repairs
  • Quote interior renovation projects for kitchens, bathrooms, basements
  • Determine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costs
  • Gather bids and negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible prices
  • Create and submit estimates to homeowners
  • Budget and forecast using appropriate software

    • Qualifications

  • Home remodeling experience
  • Previous experience as an Estimator is preferred
  • Ability to forecast building costs and knowledge of estimation formulas
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Skilled in relevant software (jobber, company cam, excel ect.)
  • Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills
